From the begin
The process of buying a home in Vermont, like anywhere else, can be a complex and exciting journey. Here’s a story of how our family bought our home in Vermont:
We loved the outdoors and had been dreaming of spend more time to a quieter, more rural area. Vermont had always been on our radar as a potential destination, with its rolling hills, beautiful forests, and charming small towns.
We started our home search online, browsing through listings on various real estate websites. We quickly realized that Vermont had a wide range of homes available, from historic farmhouses to modern log cabins. We narrowed down our search to a few towns that we liked, and started to schedule visits.
Our first trip to Vermont was in the fall, and we were blown away by the vibrant colors of the foliage and the friendly locals. We visited several homes, but none of them felt quite right. It wasn’t until our last day that we stumbled upon a beautiful home tucked away in the woods. It was a bit of a fixer-upper, but we could see its potential.
We decided to put in an offer, and after a bit of negotiation, we reached an agreement with the seller.
The closing process took a few weeks, but we were thrilled when we finally got the keys to our new home.
We spent the next several months making repairs and renovations, and slowly getting to know our new community. We joined a local farmers market and made friends with our neighbors.
Even the small tractor we have got from the previous owner is not so expensive
Now, several years later, we are settled in and loving life in Vermont. We enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring the local craft breweries. Buying a home in Vermont was one of the best decisions we ever made, and we feel fortunate to be a part of this beautiful state.
